Vivienne Hu is a New York Based designer whose collections show ' European classic elegance, New York glamour and Asian exoticism'. Hu launched her first flagship store in soho, New York in 2013. Her designs have been featured in various magazines including Elle and Bazaar.
Vivienne Hu's Spring/Summer 2017 collection was an exquisite blend of floral patterns, flowing silk and asymmetric clothing. Her colour pallet consisted of bright oranges, pinks and blues paired with an occasional dark lace to give the outfit that sense of depth.
I absolutely loved the entire collection! however, I have my favourites; these particular 'favourites include the 2 pictures above. I felt that the flow of the baby blue silk dress is a perfect representation of spring. It captures the softness and brightness of the season all in a simple strapless dress. The dress also allows the collar bones to be exposed which gives an elegant and feminine look; I think that aspect really ties the dress together!
