Alexander Wang is a 26 year old American Fashion designer and former creative director or Balenciaga. At just the age of 19 Wang moved to New York to attend Parsons School of Design. After 2 years he finally decided to pursue his own fashion label. 

Compared to last seasons 'neon surfer' vibe, this season has an after dark feel with a party punk twist.

The dark garments in both gloss, matte and shine all fit perfectly together to create the perfect dark mysterious outfit, perfect for any evening occasion or even for an important meeting.

Unusual to most of Wangs other shows, there was a lack of boys on the runway. Wang began bringing the male form into a womenswear show to combine the 2 genders into one line, however, not a single menswear hit the runway on the evening of his Ready - to -wear line. 

The makeup and hair part of the show was by far one of the best yet. Taking that beloved 1990's grunge cat eye with minimal skin and eyebrow change. Embracing the natural pale colour of each models skin by adding a sharp coal black around the eyes. Also including new urban hair cuts and styles, not too sleek but not too messy, the perfect combination of layer and style.
