1960'S Fashion

 

From such a conservative and restrained era that the 50's fashion displayed, the 60's was the complete juxtaposition of that. With Bright colours and patterns popping up all over the world in different forms of culture and ethnicity, it was surely one of the greatest fashion decade of the century!

With Women showing more skin than ever before, it was a complete change from the 50's. Especially with the center of the fashion world being in London; it was Britain's time to shine.
Men's suits became sleeker and were often accessorised with bright, bold shirts and high-heeled boots. Women showing their bodies off to the public in exciting colors dressed in leather and patent.
 
Two other very popular styles of the sixties which proved to be more enduring were the mini skirt and bell bottom pants. "The mini was the most seen fashion modification of the decade".
